How to care for your jewelry
Jewelry needs proper care to preserve its beauty. Here are some helpful tips to ensure your pieces stay beautiful. We recommend removing gold-plated 925 silver jewelry when coming into contact with water. Jewelry made of stainless steel and non-gold-plated 925 silver, on the other hand, can safely be exposed to water without losing color.
How to clean your jewelry
1. Mix a little soap in lukewarm water.
2. Place the jewelry in the water for about 5 minutes. Use a soft brush, such as a toothbrush, to clean under stones or use your fingers to rub.
3. Rinse the jewelry in water and dry with a clean, soft cloth. Do not use paper, as it may scratch the jewelry.
It's best to store your jewelry separately to avoid scratches from your other pieces. Feel free to wrap them in the jewelry box.

What are our jewelry pieces made of?
Gold-plated jewelry
Gold-plated jewelry consists of a thin layer of real gold. Our gold jewelry is 18 karat gold-plated. The sterling silver or stainless steel is dipped in an electroplating solution with a lump of solid gold. When an electric current is applied, a thin layer of gold is deposited onto the metal. Since the plating is quite thin, the surface of the jewelry (and thus the color) can wear off if not properly cared for.
925 sterling silver
Sterling silver is a luxurious metal and is a blend of pure silver and another metal, usually copper. The standard is at least 92.5% silver. That’s why you’ll see the 925 stamp on all our jewelry made of sterling silver. Silver is a soft metal, so it’s best to remove silver jewelry in situations where rings are likely to be knocked or bumped against hard surfaces.
Stainless steel
Stainless steel is a durable metal that will last a long time due to its resistance to discoloration, oxidation, and rust. Stainless steel is a ferrous alloy, a material made up of two or more chemical elements.
Cubic zirconia
Cubic zirconia is a synthetic gemstone that comes in various shapes and colors. We use this synthetic gemstone when we want the jewelry to shine a little extra.
Freshwater pearls
Freshwater pearls are rare and unique gems that form naturally in freshwater mussels. Each pearl has its own unique shape and can vary in color and size. The pearls we use are carefully selected for you.
